About Midnight Generation

Midnight Generation began in 2015 as Fernando Mares's project in Chihuahua, Mexico, and grew into a full band in 2020 with Luis Carlos Valderrama, Carlos Amaya, Samuel Márquez and Diego Bustillos. Mares names Barry White, the Bee Gees, Chromeo and Zapp's Roger Troutman among his influences.

After Odyssey came Tender Love (2025), with "Don't Wait Up", "Energy" and "Teacher" featuring Zimmer90. The band opened more than 30 US dates for Empire of the Sun, and the 2026 single "Runaways" leads into its next record.
