Who Is Copious

Who Is Copious is the project through which singer, songwriter and guitarist Mikhail Petersen has returned to performing after almost ten years off stage. Petersen was the frontman and main songwriter of the Atlanta band Copious Jones, and this group plays his songs.

Drummer Marcus Williams, whose credits include Isaac Hayes, Gloria Gaynor and Candi Staton, has shaped the direction of the new material and is a large part of why Petersen came back. Sean Hartley of Tire Fire, Dotline Projekt and Frogs of Calabash covers bass or guitar as each song needs. The three form the core of the band and bring in musician friends to fill out the lineup from show to show.
