Remi Wolf

Remi Wolf was born in 1996 and grew up in Palo Alto, California. As a teenager she competed on American Idol, and she later studied popular music at the University of Southern California. Her early EPs, You're a Dog! and I'm Allergic to Dogs!, came out of that period, and a remix of "Photo ID" featuring Dominic Fike spread widely online and brought her a much larger audience.

Her songs stack funk basslines, bright guitars and quick, loose rhythms under lyrics that are often comic and self-mocking. The arrangements are busy and colourful. On stage she leans into a high-energy, playful performance, with a band built around those grooves.
