This is a back-to-back pairing of two producers from the heavier end of contemporary dubstep. Virtual Riot is Christian Brunn, a German producer long associated with Disciple Recordings, known for unusually dense sound design and for sharing his production techniques and presets with other artists. INFEKT works in a bass-weight, riddim-adjacent register, with stripped, percussive drops that trade detail for impact. Played together, the two catalogues cover a fairly wide span of the style, and both producers are known for editing and rearranging their own material on the fly.
