About Country Thunder Wisconsin 2027
Country Thunder Wisconsin 2027 runs Thursday July 15 to Sunday July 18 at 2305 Richmond Road in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, an hour and a half north of Chicago and an hour south of Milwaukee. The 2027 lineup has not been announced. Tickets and camping are on sale now, with camping and reserved seats having opened to the public at 10am on August 7, 2026.
This is a camping festival first and a concert second, and the ticket sheet shows it. Alongside the 19 by 40 foot primitive sites there are big-rig sites with 30 amp power and water, tent-only sites, Crown Camping with 50 amp power and septic service, and glamping tents with real beds, a concierge and a lounge that serves morning coffee. Admission tiers run from lawn-style weekend general admission up through Gold Circle, Reserved Seating and two Platinum levels. Reserved seats and every campsite carry the right to renew the same spot for 2028, so a good pitch tends to stay in the same hands year after year.
July 2026 sets the expectation for the bill. Keith Urban, Riley Green, Gavin Adcock and Shaboozey took the four headline nights, with Nate Smith, Gretchen Wilson, Lonestar, Ian Munsick, Mark Chesnutt, Corey Kent and Dasha spread down the card. It is the mainstream end of the format: a stadium-scale name a night over a mix of 90s hitmakers and current radio.

Yes. Weekend general admission is lawn-style seating, and the upgrades are Gold Circle, Reserved Seating, Platinum Experience and Platinum Circle, the last three carrying reserved parking. Camping and reserved seats went on public sale at 10am on August 7, 2026, after the renewal window for existing holders closed.
What camping is there at Country Thunder Wisconsin?
Primitive sites are 19 by 40 feet, with a limited number of 25 by 45 foot big-rig sites carrying 30 amp power and water. Tent camping is a 10 by 30 foot tent-only site. Crown Camping is 20 by 40 feet with 50 amp power, water, septic service, 24-hour security and two Platinum Experience tickets, and glamping puts you in a 20 by 20 foot tent with beds, cooling and a concierge. Every camper needs full event admission to get into the campgrounds.
Is there a discount for locals or military?
Both. Anyone living within three miles of 2305 Richmond Road can buy a weekend general admission for $150 plus tax and fees, sold only from the Reserved Parking Lot on Richmond Road between 10am and 8pm on July 14, 2027, with photo ID and proof of address, limit two per resident. Country Thunder also offers a $25 military discount.
Do kids need a ticket?
Children 10 and under get in free in general admission areas when they are with a valid GA ticket holder. Premium areas need their own ticket at any age.
How do I get there, and can I tailgate?
Twin Lakes is about 90 minutes from Chicago and an hour from Milwaukee. Buy parking before you arrive: day and reserved lots run from noon, and tailgating is allowed only in the weekend overnight lot, not in reserved parking. Uber and Lyft both serve Twin Lakes, and the festival asks riders to use the County Highway O address in Genoa City. A shuttle runs too, with 2027 details still to come.
