Plays guitar and screams over his own dubstep — the metal/bass crossover taken entirely seriously, pits and drops in equal measure.

Sullivan King is the stage name of Keaton Prescott, a producer, guitarist and vocalist born on July 15, 1994, who works out of Los Angeles. He builds tracks that fold heavy metal instrumentation into dubstep and bass music, playing guitar and screaming live over his own productions rather than sampling them.

Performing with a guitar strapped on behind the decks, he pairs riffing and shouted vocals with the drop structures of festival bass music. Music press has singled out the combination as one of the few places where ravers in kandi bracelets and metal fans end up in the same crowd.

He made his concert debut in 2014 and has toured the United States repeatedly since, a live show closer in feel to a metal set than a DJ set. He has collaborated widely with producers across the American dubstep scene, as well as with the rock band Papa Roach and drummer Matt McGuire of The Chainsmokers.
