About Country Thunder Saskatchewan 2027
Country Thunder Saskatchewan 2027 runs Thursday July 8 to Sunday July 11 on the festival grounds at Craven, in the Qu'Appelle Valley about half an hour north of Regina. The first 2027 name is out: Megan Moroney headlines Sunday July 11, announced on September 24. The rest of the bill has not been announced. Tickets and camping are already selling: campsites and reserved seats went on public sale at 10am on July 31, 2026, once the on-site renewal window closed, and weekend general admission is on sale now.
The festival is older than the brand on it. Craven has held a country weekend since 1983, when it started as the Big Valley Jamboree with Roy Orbison on the first bill. It ran as the Craven Country Jamboree from 2005 under promoter Troy Vollhoffer, and joined Country Thunder's circuit in 2016, the first edition under that name arriving in 2017 with Blake Shelton, Toby Keith and Keith Urban. The shape has stayed put through all of it: one main stage, four nights, a headliner a night, and a campground that most of the crowd treats as the actual event.
July 2026 is the guide to what 2027 will look like. Lainey Wilson, Creed and Riley Green took the headline nights on a bill of about fifteen acts, with Regina's own The Dead South, Gavin Adcock, Cameron Whitecomb, Max McNown, Dasha and Noeline Hofmann underneath. Creed on a country bill is the sort of swing Craven has started taking. That lineup was announced in November, eight months before the gates opened, which is the pattern to expect here.

Camping and reserved seats opened to the public at 10am on July 31, 2026, after existing campers and seat holders had their renewal window.
What camping is there at Country Thunder Saskatchewan?
Gold, Silver and Family camping is a 19 by 40 foot primitive site with parking for one vehicle, and tent camping is a 10 by 30 foot tent-only site assigned first come, first served. Every campsite now includes two weekend general admission tickets. Accessible sites are available, and a second vehicle needs an extra parking pass.
Do kids need a ticket?
Children 10 and under get in free in general admission areas when they are with a valid GA ticket holder. Any upgraded area needs its own ticket, whatever the child's age.
How do I get to Craven?
The grounds are 20 to 30 minutes north of Regina. A free SafeRide shuttle runs from Regina and Moose Jaw, with the 2027 schedule posted closer to the festival. RFID wristbands are mailed out ahead of time and have to be activated before you travel.
Where should I buy tickets, and can I resell them?
Only from Country Thunder or its official ticketing partners; the festival cannot verify a third-party sale. CashOrTrade is its official face-value exchange if your plans change. All sales are final and the show runs rain or shine.
