About Sqwerv
Sqwerv came up in Denver in 2017, hosting local open jams and playing small bars, and grew alongside fellow Colorado jam acts such as Magic Beans, Squeaky Feet, Eminence Ensemble and Rado. The four-piece draws on classic rock and psychedelia, and puts real time into lyrics and song structure before stretching the songs out on stage through groove, counterpoint and polyrhythm.
Its catalogue runs from short psych songs about love to twelve-minute prog pieces inspired by Homer's Odyssey. The band has released two studio albums and three live albums, has completed national tours, and has opened for Lespecial, Spafford, Eggy and Big Something.
