About Rakta
Rakta is a São Paulo trio of Carla Boregas, Paula Rebellato and Maurício Takara, recording since 2013, when its self-titled debut came out on Nada Nada Discos. The early inspiration was the anarcho-punk and post-punk of the 1970s and 80s, Crass in particular.
III (2016) and Falha Comum (2019) pushed bass, drums and vocals through synths and effects toward psych rock and experimental electronics. In 2019 the band made a collaborative EP and a live LP with DEAFKIDS.
