About Sooza
Sooza started as a handful of college friends in Gainesville playing their favourite tunes together and grew into a working six-piece horn line. The front row is two trumpets, saxophone, trombone and sousaphone, with a drum kit underneath, and the band takes material usually filed under classical or jazz in its own direction.
The current lineup is Shawn Villanueva and Adrienne Widener on trumpet, Ryan Gamberino on saxophone, Brian Burwell on trombone, Bianca Maesa on sousaphone and Austin DiVito on drums.
