Tru Phonic

Tru Phonic formed in 2017 around the original songs of guitarist and singer Jake Salter, who taught himself guitar before working through a run of local bands and studying recording, theory, keyboards and voice. The rest of the lineup is drawn from experienced players on the Central Florida circuit.

The band's songs rest on long, expanding grooves, stacked vocal harmonies and a tight horn section, with Salter's guitar at the front. Live sets change from night to night, and the group has built a following through steady touring across the Southeastern United States alongside its studio albums.
