About Star Moles
Star Moles is the project of songwriter Emily Moales, who grew up in New Hampshire and is based in Philadelphia. The music sits between indie pop, bedroom pop and folk, recorded lo-fi, and the songs often borrow from Arthurian legend and medieval literature.
Camelot, from 2018, found a wider audience after its physical release in 2021. Snack Monster followed in 2025, and Highway to Hell, produced by Kevin Basko, arrived in February 2026. Most of the catalog is released independently through Bandcamp.
