The Jungle Giants

The Jungle Giants formed in Brisbane in 2011 around singer, guitarist and songwriter Sam Hales, with guitarist Cesira Aitken, bassist Andrew Dooris and drummer Keelan Bijker. Their early albums Learn to Exist and Speakerzoid were guitar-driven indie rock, and the band gradually pulled in more dance rhythms and electronic production.

That shift came into focus on Quiet Ferocity, whose single 'Feel the Way I Do' became their best-known song in Australia, and carried on through Love Signs. Hales produces much of the band's material himself, and the group releases its records through its own label, Amplify Music.
