Ikkimel

About Ikkimel
Ikkimel released her first singles in 2022 and broke through the following year with "Keta und Krawall", a short, loud track that pairs techno kicks and distorted hyperpop synths with blunt, sexually explicit lyrics. Much of her writing takes the boastful, crude language of German street rap and turns it around, aiming the insults and bragging back at men. That role reversal is the main subject of the songs.
Her debut album came out in 2025, and its follow-up, Poppstar, reached number one in Germany and Austria in 2026. Her lyrics and her online persona have made her a frequent topic of argument in German media and pop culture.
