About Mehnersmoos
Mehnersmoos are MadFred (Frederik Moos) and Maydn (Tobias Mehner), a rap duo from Frankfurt whose name joins their two surnames. Both trained as drummers at Dr. Hoch's Konservatorium and taught at a music school for years while the project grew, starting with a first song in 2010 and the free mixtape Eier, Wurst und Saft in 2013.
Their debut album Pennergang reached number nine on the German album chart in 2022, the year they opened for K.I.Z on tour. Sexy followed in 2023 with guests including Money Boy, and Neues von Mehnersmoos went to number four in 2024 with an appearance from Bela B. A side project, The Sons of Huens, plays the duo's guitar songs in the style of 1980s German rock.
