About Nothing But Thieves
Nothing But Thieves formed in Southend-on-Sea in 2012, with Conor Mason on vocals alongside guitarists Joe Langridge-Brown and Dominic Craik and bassist Philip Blake. They signed to RCA and released a self-titled debut in 2015, which carried the singles 'Itch' and 'Trip Switch'.
The second album, Broken Machine (2017), went further into heavy, tightly wound riffing, while Moral Panic (2020) brought in more electronic texture and songs aimed at the state of the news cycle. Dead Club City (2023) is a concept record built around a fictional members-only city, and leans toward glossy, disco-tinged rock without dropping the guitars.
