About Julianna Barwick & Mary Lattimore
Julianna Barwick builds her music from her own voice, looping and stacking it live into dense choral layers. Her albums include The Magic Place, Nepenthe, recorded in Iceland, and Healing Is a Miracle, released on Ninja Tune in 2020.
Mary Lattimore plays a concert pedal harp through effects and loopers, writing long instrumental pieces on records such as Hundreds of Days and Silver Ladders, and she has worked with Kurt Vile and Thurston Moore. She appeared as a guest on Healing Is a Miracle. Together they play slow, improvised pieces in which harp patterns and vocal loops build up gradually and then thin out.
