Disclosure (DJ Set)
Guy and Howard Lawrence on the decks, playing the UK garage and vocal house their own crossover records grew out of.
About Disclosure (DJ Set)
Disclosure are the brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence from Reigate in Surrey. They broke through with 'Latch', featuring a then-unknown Sam Smith, and the debut album 'Settle' (2013), which put garage rhythms and house chords under pop vocals. Later albums 'Caracal', 'Energy' and 'Alchemy' kept the guest-vocalist format while moving between soulful house and harder club tracks.
The DJ sets are a different proposition from the band's live show, which has the brothers playing drum pads, bass and keys. Here they mix records, leaning on the two-step, garage and classic vocal house that shaped their own productions, with their own tracks and edits dropped in among them.
