Jantsen is a bass music producer and DJ based in Colorado, active since the mid-2000s and associated with the early glitch-hop scene that grew out of the American West. His productions pair heavy low-end and half-time drum programming with a hip-hop-derived sense of swing, and he has released through labels tied to that scene. He is also known for collaborations with other producers in the US bass circuit, and his DJ sets lean toward the heavier end of dubstep and trap alongside his own glitch-hop material.
