A Hundred Drums is the project of Denver-based producer and DJ Gladys Isabel, working in dub-influenced bass music. Her productions sit in the deep dubstep and dub techno lineage — heavy sub-bass, sparse percussion, long delays and considerable space between elements — with an emphasis on weight and pacing rather than drops. She has released through labels in the North American bass scene and is also known for her advocacy around representation in the genre.
