NYC's buzziest indie-dance trio — baggy house grooves with downtown cool, like Madchester relocated to a Chinatown basement.

Fcukers formed in New York in 2022 when Jackson Walker Lewis, fresh from five years in the indie rock band Spud Cannon, began experimenting with house music and invited vocalist Shanny Wise, formerly of The Shacks, to join him. Drummer Ben Scharf played on early releases before leaving the group.

The pair built early tracks like 'Homie Don't Shake' from shared instrumentals, with Wise drawn to the project because she wanted to move past what she called 'indie shit' toward something closer to beats. Their debut single 'Mothers' arrived in 2023, followed by a remix collaboration with LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy.

Signing to Ninja Tune's Technicolour Records in 2024, the group released the singles 'Bon Bon' and 'Tommy' before putting out their debut EP, Baggy$$, that September. They have since opened for Tame Impala and released a debut album, Ö, along with a companion remix EP.
