Caribou's Dan Snaith in club mode — joyous, loop-drunk house edits that chase the exact moment a groove becomes euphoria.

Daphni is the club-facing alias of Dan Snaith, the Canadian producer better known as Caribou and, earlier, Manitoba. Where the Caribou records lean on song structures and vocals, Daphni tracks are built for DJ use: long, looping edits assembled from unusual samples, with percussion and filtered melodic phrases that shift gradually over the course of a track. The project debuted with a series of 12-inches before the album Jiaolong, and Snaith has continued releasing under the name alongside his Caribou work. His sets are typically DJ sets rather than live band performances, and often feature unreleased edits made specifically for the occasion.
