About Bicep
Bicep started in 2008 as Feel My Bicep, a blog where Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson posted forgotten house, Italo and disco records. The two friends from Belfast moved to London, began DJing and producing, and the blog's name later became their label and club night.
Their self-titled debut album came out on Ninja Tune in 2017 and included 'Glue', which drew on the sound of 1990s UK rave. Isles followed in 2021 with tracks such as 'Apricots' and 'Atlas', mixing sampled vocals from around the world with heavy breakbeats. Bicep also tour a live show, playing their tracks on hardware against synchronised visuals.
