Three brothers making self-described fashion-art rock, glam theatrics wrapped around garage riffs — a band with one of the most devoted young fanbases in rock.

Palaye Royale is a rock band made up of three brothers: vocalist Remington Leith, guitarist Sebastian Danzig and drummer Emerson Barrett. The family relocated from Toronto to Las Vegas, where the brothers formed in 2008 under the name Kropp Circle, playing acoustic soft rock before shifting direction. Their mother was advised by family friend Paul Weller of the Jam to let them leave school and pursue music full time.

In 2011 Kropp Circle became Palaye Royale, a nod to Palais Royale, the Toronto dance hall where the brothers' grandparents first met. The band describes its music as fashion-art rock, garage rock guitar wrapped in glam and theatrical staging. Victorian and vaudevillian styling, along with artwork by Barrett, ties closely to the material and shapes how the band presents itself onstage.

Before major-label attention, Palaye Royale won MTV's Musical March Madness in 2014 as an unsigned act, beating out bands including Linkin Park. They signed to Sumerian Records in 2015 and released Boom Boom Room (Side A) the following year, with the single "Get Higher" reaching the Billboard Modern Rock chart. Remington Leith later voiced a lead character in the 2017 film American Satan.

A second volume, Boom Boom Room (Side B), followed in 2018, with the touring band expanded by bassist Daniel Curcio and guitarist Andrew Martin. Fans in Britain began organising public park meet-ups called Palaye in the Park, a practice later adopted elsewhere, while pop-up merchandise shops let overseas fans buy directly without international shipping fees, often featuring Barrett's artwork.
