Jai Wolf
New York producer Sajeeb Saha, whose breakout 'Indian Summer' set the template for his lush, wistful melodic electronica. The Cure to Loneliness pushed that sound toward indie songcraft.
Jai Wolf is the project of Sajeeb Saha, who was born in Bangladesh and grew up in New York City. 'Indian Summer' first came out through Foreign Family Collective, the label and artist collective run by ODESZA, and that connection placed him early on among producers working a softer, more melodic strand of electronic music.
He followed it with the Kindred Spirits EP, which included 'Starlight' with Mr Gabriel on vocals. His productions favour warm synth pads, pitched vocal chops and slow-building drops, and on The Cure to Loneliness he leaned further on guest singers and song structures borrowed from indie rock.
