About Giant Rooks
Giant Rooks formed in Hamm in North Rhine-Westphalia in the mid-2010s, when the members were still teenagers. The line-up is Frederik Rabe on vocals, Finn Schwieters on guitar, Luca Göttner on bass, Jonathan Wischniowski on keyboards and Finn Thomas on drums. They write in English, and their songs stack layered synths and percussion under Rabe's high, strained voice.
After a run of EPs, the band released its debut album Rookery in 2020. How Have You Been? followed in 2024, and the band has toured widely in Europe and beyond.
