Irish indie four-piece — harmony-rich guitar pop on a steep rise, carrying the Cranberries torch for a new generation.

Florence Road formed in Bray, County Wicklow, in 2019, brought together by four childhood friends: singer and guitarist Lily Aron, guitarist Emma Brandon, bassist Ailbhe Barry and drummer Hannah Kelly. They started out writing and rehearsing in a garden shed, building an early audience through fisheye-lens performance videos and cover versions posted online.

Their breakthrough came in March 2025 with the single "Heavy," co-written with Marshall Vore and John Hill, which drew a public endorsement from Olivia Rodrigo and pushed its streaming numbers up sharply. A second single, "Caterpillar," produced by Dan Nigro, followed in April 2025 and was praised for its acoustic arrangement and lyrics about anxiety and change.

The band's debut mixtape, Fall Back, arrived in June 2025, preceded by the single "Figure It Out." Around the same time they signed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and a recording contract with Warner Records, shortly after finishing school.

Florence Road have since taken support slots on tours by Olivia Rodrigo, Sombr, Wolf Alice and the Last Dinner Party, carrying their harmony-heavy guitar pop to larger rooms across Europe and North America.
