Drew Baldridge

Drew Baldridge grew up in Patoka, a small farming village in southern Illinois, and moved to Nashville to pursue country music. His songs sit in mainstream contemporary country, built on straightforward small-town storytelling and big, clean choruses.

Before his breakthrough he spent years on the margins of the industry, releasing music on small labels and playing wherever he could book a room. 'She's Somebody's Daughter' is a song about respecting the woman he loves as someone's child. It reached listeners largely through social media and fan support before country radio took it up, and it went to number one while he was still an independent artist. He has since signed with BMG Nashville.
