Ashley McBryde

Ashley McBryde grew up in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and moved to Nashville, where she spent years playing bars and releasing music independently before signing with Warner Music Nashville. Her major-label debut, Girl Going Nowhere, arrived in 2018, and the song "A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega" became a calling card for her road-worn style.

Her songs sit between contemporary country and rock, delivered in a gritty voice over loud guitars. She was named New Artist of the Year at the CMA Awards, and her duet with Carly Pearce, "Never Wanted to Be That Girl," won a Grammy. Her 2022 album Lindeville is a concept record about a fictional small town, made with a group of fellow Nashville songwriters. She was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry the same year.
