Georgia country rocker who co-wrote Jason Aldean's 'Dirt Road Anthem' and 'My Kinda Party' before 'Bottoms Up' made him a headliner. Heavy guitars, small-town grit.
Brantley Gilbert was born in 1985 and grew up in Jefferson, Georgia. He released his first records independently, including Modern Day Prodigal Son and Halfway to Heaven, before signing with the Big Machine imprint Valory Music Co., which reissued Halfway to Heaven. That album produced 'Country Must Be Country Wide' and 'You Don't Know Her Like I Do' alongside 'Bottoms Up'.
Later albums include Just As I Am, The Devil Don't Sleep, Fire & Brimstone and So Help Me God. His songs lean on loud electric guitars and themes of faith, loyalty and hard living, and he has spoken openly about sobriety. His fan community goes by the name BG Nation.
