Bandits on the Run formed after its three members met performing in the New York subway, and the busking setup still shapes the music: cello and guitar, accordion, hand percussion and whatever else can be carried, with all three singing in close harmony. Their songs run to storytelling, sometimes theatrical, and they perform in matching costume with a bandit motif that carries through the artwork.
