Danish producer whose big-room instincts helped define future rave — melodic hooks welded to hard, festival-scaled kick drums.

Morten is the Danish DJ and producer Morten Breum, who worked for years in Denmark's dance music scene before becoming widely known outside it. His name is tied to Future Rave, the sound and project he developed with David Guetta, which pairs trance-derived melodic lines and rave stabs with the hard, driving kick drums of big-room house.

The pair have released a long run of collaborative singles under that banner and have run the associated label, and Morten also records on his own. His sets are built for large rooms and outdoor stages: high tempos, heavy low end, and melodic hooks designed to carry over a distance.
