John Talabot

John Talabot is the alias of Oriol Riverola, a Barcelona producer and DJ. fIN came out on the German label Permanent Vacation and was built from murky samples, soft vocals and slow-building grooves. It drew listeners well beyond the club audience that already knew his singles.

He also records with the Swedish producer Axel Boman as Talaboman, whose album The Night Land came out on R&S. As a DJ, Talabot plays long sets that move between house, disco and stranger electronic records, and through Hivern Discs he has released music by other producers from Barcelona and beyond.
