German trio working the melodic end of metalcore, with Maria Lessing swinging between clean vocals and screams over post-hardcore atmosphere.

Future Palace formed in Berlin at the end of 2018, when vocalist Maria Lessing joined guitarist Manuel Kohlert and drummer Johannes Früchtenicht, two musicians who had already played together in earlier bands. The three started a group chat named Future Palace to plan the project, and the name stuck. Lessing had first met the pair after singing a guest feature for their previous band.

Musically the band works melodic metalcore with heavy post-hardcore leanings: clean, sung choruses set against screamed passages, with ambient and electronic textures layered under the guitars. Members have named Bring Me the Horizon, Pvris, The Midnight and Mike Oldfield as influences, and lyrics deal largely with mental health and personal struggle.

Early singles "Maybe" and "Anomaly" arrived in 2019 ahead of their first shows in Berlin and Hamburg. Arising Empire signed the band in 2020, the same year they released their debut album, Escape, followed by Run in 2022, which entered the German album chart, and Distortion in 2024, which drew strong reviews from rock press.

The band signed to Century Media Records in 2025 and released a fourth album, Resurgence, the following year, continuing the run of singles and headline touring across Europe that had built up around each previous release.
