Ecco2k

Ecco2k is the Stockholm artist Zak Arogundade Gaterud, a core member of the Drain Gang collective alongside Bladee, Thaiboy Digital and Yung Sherman. Before music became his main work he modelled and designed clothes, and he has directed a number of the collective's music videos, which accounts for much of their pale, glossy visual identity.

His debut album, E, came out in 2019 and set out the sound: high, breathy vocals pushed through pitch correction over glitchy, hymn-like production that borrows from trance and early-2000s R&B. The EP PXE followed in 2021, and in 2022 he and Bladee released Crest, a joint album that leans further into soft, devotional melody.
