About Talking Heads

Talking Heads started when David Byrne, Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth, who had met at the Rhode Island School of Design, moved to New York and began playing CBGB in the mid-1970s. Jerry Harrison joined on keyboards and guitar, and the debut '77' included 'Psycho Killer'.

Brian Eno produced three albums, 'More Songs About Buildings and Food', 'Fear of Music' and 'Remain in Light', which pushed the band toward layered rhythms and an expanded line-up. Jonathan Demme's concert film 'Stop Making Sense' (1984) captured that larger touring band, and 'Burning Down the House' became their biggest US hit. They released 'Naked' in 1988 and split in 1991.
