SZA
Singer whose 'Ctrl' and 'SOS' made diaristic, unguarded R&B into blockbuster pop, sliding between hazy soul, rap cadences and the occasional guitar ballad.

About SZA
SZA, born Solána Rowe, grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey, and signed to Top Dawg Entertainment, the label home of Kendrick Lamar, in 2013. Her early EPs 'See.SZA.Run', 'S' and 'Z' built a following for dreamy, loosely structured songs.
'Ctrl' (2017) carried singles such as 'The Weekend' and 'Love Galore', and she paired with Kendrick Lamar on 'All the Stars' for the 'Black Panther' soundtrack. 'SOS' (2022) went further, with 'Kill Bill' and 'Snooze' among its biggest songs, and her lyrics dwell on jealousy, insecurity and bad decisions with blunt humour.
