Star Eyes is the DJ name of Vivian Host, a New York-based selector, writer and broadcaster. She was one of the founders of Trouble & Bass, the New York collective and label that in the late 2000s and early 2010s brought together bassline, ravey house, jungle and dubstep influences in one crew.
Alongside DJing, Host has worked extensively as a music journalist and radio host, covering electronic and club music, which shows up in sets that move between eras of rave history — hardcore and jungle breaks, garage, grime and contemporary club tracks.
