Texas producer whose 'Rail Breaker' became a festival-circuit standard — hype-first dubstep with a mosh-caller's instincts.

Riot Ten is the project of Christopher Wilson, a producer and DJ born October 27, 1992, from El Paso, Texas, working mainly in the heavier end of American bass music. His tracks lean on blown-out dubstep basslines and trap drum patterns, built around big rhythmic build-ups and drops designed for large rooms rather than headphones.

Wilson released his debut EP, Hype Or Die: Headbangerz, in 2016 on Datsik's Firepower Records, with the breakout single "Like Kanye" featuring Trinidadian dancehall artist Bunji Garlin. He later signed to Steve Aoki's Dim Mak Records, where "Rail Breaker," his collaboration with rapper Crichy Crich, became a fixture in heavy bass sets.

The ongoing "Hype or Die" series of releases and mixes has kept his output recognisable, alongside further music on Excision's Rotten Recordings, Never Say Die Records and Disciple Records, plus remixes issued through Atlantic, Interscope and RCA. Since 2016 he has toured alongside acts including Yellow Claw, Adventure Club, Steve Aoki, Kayzo, Pegboard Nerds and Excision.

Vocal features and rap cadences appear regularly in his music, and his DJ sets tend to move quickly between his own productions and other producers' hardest material.
