Mild Minds
Benjamin David's project, pairing his own soft vocals with warm, slow-building melodic electronica.
Mild Minds is the solo project of producer and singer Benjamin David, an Australian-born musician now based in Los Angeles. He writes, produces and sings the material himself, and his records sit on the reflective side of dance music: soft, close-miked vocals over patient electronic arrangements that build slowly toward the dancefloor.
The project is signed to Counter Records, the Ninja Tune imprint, which released his debut album, Mood, in 2020. In a live setting David performs the songs rather than playing a straight DJ set, singing over the productions as they unfold.
