About Mike D (5D)
Mike D 5D is Michael Diamond's live band, built to play Thank You, his 13-track debut solo album released on Capitol in August 2026. It was the first solo album by a Beastie Boy since the group ended after Adam Yauch's death in 2012.
The band includes his sons Skyler and Davis Diamond alongside Eddie Ruscha, Will Graefe and Milo Ruscha. The singles "Switch Up", "What We Got" and "True Colors" led into the record, which leans on lo-fi analog synth noise and industrial beats with a dub influence.
