LUUDE

Australian drum and bass producer who flipped Men at Work's 'Down Under' into a rave anthem, then did the same to 'Big City Life'.

About LUUDE

LUUDE is a drum and bass producer from Tasmania. His version of 'Down Under', released in 2023, brought in Colin Hay, the original Men at Work singer, to re-record his vocal over rolling breakbeats and a heavy bassline. That approach of keeping a familiar chorus intact and rebuilding everything underneath it for the dancefloor became his signature.

He followed the same method with 'Big City Life', working with Mattafix, the duo behind the original. Both tracks keep the singalong hooks front and centre, which makes them crossover records that sit easily in drum and bass sets and in broader dance playlists.
