Long-running Arizona outfit led by the Nicoli sisters, pairing clean melodic vocals against screamed counterpoint — mid-2000s post-hardcore still in motion.

Eyes Set to Kill started as a three-piece with Alexia and Anissa on guitar and bass alongside original vocalist Lindsey Vogt. When Vogt left, Alexia took over as lead singer while continuing to play guitar, and the band worked through several rhythm-section lineups in its early years while the sisters stayed at the core.

Anissa left the band in late 2016 and returned in 2023, one of several lineup changes across two decades that left the sisters as the only constant. That churn ran alongside the band's shift between screamed and clean vocal styles, as different members moved in and out of guitar, drum and backing-vocal roles.

Their early EP, When Silence Is Broken, the Night Is Torn, sold well locally before the debut album Reach in 2008. The 2009 follow-up, The World Outside, drew wider notice, including a USA Today feature and a place on Alternative Press's '100 Bands You Need to Know,' and 2010's Broken Frames kept the momentum going.

The band later launched its own label, Foresee Records, releasing White Lotus in 2011 and touring with Falling in Reverse. A deal with Century Media followed in 2012, producing the 2013 album Masks, and the band kept touring and releasing music through subsequent lineup and label changes.
