DMA'S

DMA'S formed in Sydney around 2013. The core trio is singer Tommy O'Dell with guitarists Johnny Took and Matt Mason. Their debut album 'Hills End' (2016) drew constant comparisons to Oasis and the Stone Roses for its strummed acoustic-and-electric layering and O'Dell's long, held vocal lines. Songs such as 'Delete' and 'Lay Down' became their best-known early tracks.

'For Now' (2018) kept the guitar-band format. 'The Glow' (2020) brought in programmed beats and synths drawn from late-1990s British dance-rock, and 'How Many Dreams?' (2023) carried on in that direction. They have toured extensively in the UK, where their following is large.
