Charlie Puth

Charlie Puth was born in 1991 and grew up in Rumson, New Jersey. He studied at Berklee College of Music and first drew attention with covers and original songs posted to YouTube, which led to a deal with Ellen DeGeneres's label eleveneleven.

His breakthrough came in 2015 with 'Marvin Gaye', a duet with Meghan Trainor, and 'See You Again', the Wiz Khalifa collaboration written for Furious 7. Albums followed: 'Nine Track Mind' in 2016, 'Voicenotes' in 2018 and 'Charlie' in 2022, the last partly built in public through short videos showing how he assembled songs like 'Light Switch' from scratch. 'We Don't Talk Anymore' with Selena Gomez is another of his best-known singles.
