Jason Derulo

Jason Derulo grew up in Miramar, Florida, and was writing songs for other artists before he released anything under his own name. His debut single 'Whatcha Say', built on a sample of Imogen Heap's 'Hide and Seek', reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2009.

His records pair R&B vocals with club-ready pop production, and he has kept a steady line of hits running across more than a decade, including 'Want to Want Me', 'Swalla' and 'Savage Love', his 2020 collaboration with Jawsh 685. He is a trained dancer, and choreography is central to his videos and live shows. He has also built a large following on social video platforms.
