About Rebellion 2026
Rebellion is punk's biggest annual gathering: four August days inside Blackpool's Winter Gardens, nine stages under one roof, and a 286-act bill that treats the genre as a half-century-deep family reunion. The Empress Ballroom closers set the tone: The Stranglers on Thursday, Sham 69 on Friday, Cock Sparrer on Saturday, Stiff Little Fingers on Sunday.
Every branch of the family is present. First-wavers run from Buzzcocks and 999 to Penetration and TV Smith; the oi! wing gets Cockney Rejects and The Business; anarcho history is covered by Steve Ignorant's Crass set, Subhumans and The Mob; American hardcore sends Cro-Mags, M.D.C. and The Adolescents; and the international class (Germany's stadium-scale Die Toten Hosen, Italy's Los Fastidios, Korea's Rumkicks, Japan's Mikabomb) proves the export took.
