Florida teenager who raps like he's already bored of being rich — slurred, unbothered flows over glassy beats, charisma doing most of the work.

Luh Tyler is the stage name of Tyler Reed Meeks, born February 20, 2006, and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. He began releasing music as a teenager and broke through in November 2022 with "Law & Order," which spread on TikTok and led to a sequel, "Law & Order Part 2."

His approach sits in a Florida lineage of conversational, half-sung rap: loose, drawling cadences that drift slightly behind the beat, delivered with little urgency over airy, melodic production. Much of the appeal rests on his voice and phrasing rather than density of lyrics.

After "Law & Order" he released "Fat Racks" and appeared as a featured guest on Ski Mask the Slump God's "Florida Water" in early 2023. He signed to Atlantic Records and released his debut mixtape, My Vision, in March 2023, with a reloaded version soon after adding a Lil Uzi Vert feature; both versions reached number two on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart.

In early 2024 he was announced as an opening act on A Boogie wit da Hoodie's Better Off Alone Tour. His songs tend to be short, unhurried and built around repeated hooks rather than long verses.
