Argentine producer working at the point where hard techno meets phonk, all cowbell and swung, distorted low end.

Funk Tribu is an Argentine producer who found a wide audience with "Phonky Tribu", a track that put Memphis-style phonk cowbell patterns and swung, saturated bass into a hard techno tempo. The formula caught on quickly in European club and rave circles, and much of his output since has worked the same seam: heavily distorted low end, triplet cowbell, short vocal stabs, arrangements built for a peak-time room rather than a long build.
