About Farruko
Farruko is the stage name of Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado, born in 1991 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He broke through as a teenager, and his debut album 'El Talento del Bloque' arrived in 2010, placing him among the younger generation following reggaeton's first wave.
His catalogue moves between reggaeton, dancehall-tinged pop and trap. 'Chillax' paired him with Ky-Mani Marley, and 'Krippy Kush' with Bad Bunny and Rvssian was an early Latin trap hit. 'Pepas', from the album 'La 167', took a frantic EDM-reggaeton build into clubs worldwide in 2021.
